The Interventionist will assist the Principal in reducing the dropout rate of students through the use of intervention strategies as identified by the Principal. This role involves working directly with students identified as falling behind in grades and attendance, monitoring their progress, and identifying their needs. The Interventionist will also communicate with parents/guardians, monitor student behavior, and assist teachers with tutoring and district testing. Collaboration with school personnel, parents, and the community is key to supporting student achievement and program success. This is a contracted position paid by grant funding for one year.
