Responsibilities
- Work with a team to apply knowledge in cyber or information security.
- Engage in adversary emulation and deception activities.
- Participate in cyber forensics and threat intelligence analysis.
- Assist in operational technology engineering and response efforts.
- Contribute to the development of secure systems and cyber policy.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time student in an accredited degree-seeking program in Cyber or Information Security or a related field.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and devices such as WireShark, ELK, and Splunk.
- Understanding of cybersecurity systems and products.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity operations.
- Sustained excellence in academic performance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience applying cybersecurity knowledge in an internship or research position.
- Experience with design recovery, software analysis, or reverse engineering tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, XML, HTML, C#, or Objective C.
- Experience in developing cyber policy.
- Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
