Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to apply knowledge in cyber or information security.
  • Engage in adversary emulation and deception activities.
  • Participate in cyber forensics and threat intelligence analysis.
  • Assist in operational technology engineering and response efforts.
  • Contribute to the development of secure systems and cyber policy.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student in an accredited degree-seeking program in Cyber or Information Security or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and devices such as WireShark, ELK, and Splunk.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity systems and products.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity operations.
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience applying cybersecurity knowledge in an internship or research position.
  • Experience with design recovery, software analysis, or reverse engineering tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, XML, HTML, C#, or Objective C.
  • Experience in developing cyber policy.
  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
