About the position

The Technology and Process Implementation Analyst intern will support the Investigative Services and Causation Team by evaluating, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions and workflows. This role aims to enhance operational efficiency and improve investigative processes through analytical skills and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the ISU team to understand operational needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Travel onsite to work directly with field staff to immerse in daily operations.
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements.
  • Design, develop, and implement workflows and tools to streamline the investigative process.
  • Collaborate with the ISU team and the Innovation team for successful deployment of new technology or process improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on assigned topics.
  • Attend unit, departmental, and corporate meetings as assigned.
  • Demonstrate learning and personal and professional growth in responsibilities.
  • Understand how the company and business operate.
  • Exhibit punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude in assignments.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and complete miscellaneous assignments as assigned.
  • Use company software applications to complete assignments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respond to internal and external customer inquiries.

Requirements

  • Status as a sophomore, junior, or senior by the end of the spring term or enrolled in an applicable graduate program.
  • Status as a rising freshman, at least 18 years old, enrolled in or completed a vocational insurance-related program with some college credits.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better as of the most recent grading period.
  • Ability to work full-time during normal business hours for the summer.
  • Availability to begin employment between mid-May and mid-June.

  • Previous work experience preferred.

Benefits

  • Compensation range between $17 and $33 per hour, based on various factors.
