Access Institute for Psychological Services is a community-based nonprofit providing high-quality, affordable mental health care to individuals and families with the greatest need and least access. For more than 24 years, Access Institute has delivered over 13,000 hours of care annually to more than 700 children, adults, and seniors. Our work spans our Hayes Valley clinic, five public elementary schools, and the Bayview–Hunters Point Adult Day Health Center. Access Institute is also home to a rigorous, nationally renowned psychoanalytic training program for predoctoral interns and post-graduate fellows. Trainees receive extensive in-person supervision while gaining clinical experience and engaging in a rich didactic education program that integrates psychodynamic theory, sociocultural awareness, and community service. Access Institute seeks a skilled and collaborative licensed psychologist to support and coordinate its APA-accredited Doctoral Internship program. Reporting to the Director of Training and working in collaboration with the Clinical Team, the Internship Program Manager (IPM) will oversee core aspects of internship training to ensure a high-quality trainee experience, mentor emerging professionals, nurture relationships with the current network of instructors and adjunct supervisors, and support the needs of the organization. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys program development, administration, and contributing to a high performing, collaborative team.
