Internship Communications & Integration, Digital & Technology (Summer 2025)

About the position

The internship position in Communications & Integration at NBC Universal is designed for students pursuing a degree in relevant fields. The intern will assist in developing and executing internal communication strategies within the Digital Technology group, enhancing connectivity and understanding across global teams. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal communications, executive support, and to develop essential interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects and prepares communication tactics that support the broader Digital Technology team, including town halls, weekly updates, email newsletters, leadership meetings, team initiatives, and more.
• Supports ongoing initiatives such as executive roundtables, event planning, onboarding, and orientation.
• Oversees maintenance of the Digital & Technology SharePoint site.
• Supports the Sr. Manager, Communications & Integration with any executive support that may require design and communication efforts.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and SharePoint is required.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills are required.
• Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and organization are essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail is necessary.
• Superior written & verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

• Passion for technology and theme parks is preferred.
