About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Internist/Family Medicine Physician to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Highlands, NC. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population while working in a supportive, community-focused environment. The work schedule is full-time, 40 hours/week (36 clinical hours + administrative time), Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This position also includes telehealth triage services for 2-4 weekends per year for outpatient triage. The physician will collaborate with specialists in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Requirements

MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Active North Carolina medical license.
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
Strong communication, empathy, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute/chronic conditions.
Develop personalized care plans emphasizing preventive health and chronic disease management.
Collaborate with specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care.
Participate in telehealth triage services during designated weekends.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with practice standards.
Mentor support staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
