The Internet Sales Consultant at Jim Burke Ford Lincoln is responsible for managing online customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and converting leads into sales opportunities. The consultant will work closely with the sales team to promote vehicle sales and maintain ongoing customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internet inquiries via phone, email, and text.
  • Engage with potential customers to answer questions, provide information, and build rapport.
  • Update and maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system.
  • Proactively contact customers to schedule sales appointments.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs for in-person visits.
  • Follow up with no-show appointments to reschedule and address concerns.
  • Consistently follow up with unsold leads to nurture relationships and generate interest.
  • Utilize a strategic approach to re-engage customers and encourage dealership visits.
  • Track and report follow-up activities to ensure accountability and performance metrics are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all touchpoints, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Address customer questions or concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Work closely with the sales and management teams to achieve monthly goals.
  • Share insights and feedback on lead quality and customer trends to improve processes.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid CA driver's license with a clean DMV record
  • Sales License preferred
  • Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
  • Impressive work ethic
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic computer skills
  • A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results
