About The Position

Currently, based in Grove City, Ohio, Tosoh USA markets and sells a variety of chemical products produced by Tosoh Corporation and its affiliates that go into a myriad of industries and markets. Silica glass (a.k.a. quartz), organic chemicals, and specialty polymers are just some of the essential Tosoh USA provides to customers who produce everyday things.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be customer focused
  • Professional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Familiar with Import/Export documents and tracking experience a plus
  • At least one year of industrial customer service/sales administration experience
  • At least one year of ERP experience (SAP or similar)
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and other computer applications
  • Ability and willingness to develop a working knowledge of Tosoh USA’s products
  • Ability and willingness to interact in a highly professional and effective manner with Management, Co-Workers, Customers, Vendors, Carriers, etc.
  • Highly effective in problem-solving, organizational, detail oriented and time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel 1-2 times per year

Responsibilities

  • Provide Quotes for customers
  • Receive/Process Customer POs/Sales Orders in MAS500 (ERP System)
  • Create Purchase Orders in MAS500/ERP and send to Japan
  • Receive Product into inventory (MAS500/ERP)
  • Handle all shipments Imported from Japan to USA and/or other countries
  • Review and verify Vendor invoices
  • Review/Maintain shipping documents, including creating ISF Form
  • Track all shipments from Country of Origin to USA Port, or international Port
  • Maintain shipping documents and track items shipped by AIR
  • Schedule International Freight Pick Up After product arrives in WH
  • Maintain distribution to customers
  • Create delivery instructions and material releases for all product to be delivered to multiple customers
  • Create necessary paperwork, ie. Pick List, Pack List, CoC, etc. (MAS500/other) and send to Customer
  • Create customer invoices (MAS500/ERP)
  • Create documents for international customers.
  • Work with customer’s carrier to coordinate pick up
  • Maintain inventory, ie. Bin assignments, Warehouse Transfers, Consignment Inventory levels, etc.
  • Prepare Monthly Forecast Report for Management Review
  • Detailed analysis of current inventory and future inventory, current sales, etc.
  • Maintain and Handle Return Material Authorizations/Defective Material Issue DMRs to Japan
  • Process customer credits for defective material, when necessary
  • Inventory analysis reports
  • Perform other duties, as required
