About the position

The Intern - Project Manager position at General Atomics offers an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students in Engineering, Aviation, or Business Management to gain hands-on experience in the Aeronautical Systems team. The role involves assisting in various tasks under supervision, contributing to problem-solving, and developing reports and documentation while adhering to company regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the day-to-day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of routine and non-routine tasks.
• Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve problems.
• Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts.
• Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
• Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Requirements

• Active enrollment as an undergraduate student at a recognized college or university.
• Focus or interest in aviation business operations and program management.
• 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
• Ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately.
• Ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policies and procedures.
• Basic communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interface with internal professionals.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $29.00 - $31.00/hr., depending on specific field of study and number of college years completed.
