The Intern in Training Accelerate Program is designed to bring students back for multiple terms after their first internship, helping them transition into full-time Early Career Roles. The duration of the internships is 3 months, while Co-Ops last for 6 months. The first internship highlights include an introduction to one organization and an overview of two others, as well as attendance at a week-long Automation Bootcamp to learn the basics of Core Rockwell Automation Technology. The second and third terms, if applicable, will focus on learning and contributing to the team you joined, increasing the scope of work from the previous summer. At the end of the rotational internship, participants will apply for a full-time Early Career opportunity that aligns with their interests, positioning them for accelerated growth in their full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers on engineering tasks and requests remotely via chat or email in Remote Support roles.
  • Shadow an engineer while on a customer's site and support any required actions in Field Service roles.
  • Support project delivery actions from design to startup in various project roles including Metals & Mining, Pulp & Paper, Government, and Process Industries.

Requirements

  • Active enrollment in a four-year or advanced degree program at an accredited university.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship for employment visas will be provided).

Nice-to-haves

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (specific GPA requirement not fully detailed).
