About the position
The HR Intern will support the HR department by assisting with daily functions and special projects, including new hire orientation and performance management. This role offers exposure to employee engagement activities and policy implementation, providing a comprehensive learning experience in human resources.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily departmental functions
- Support new hire orientation processes
- Participate in the new hire review process
- Manage document organization and management
- Engage in the performance management lifecycle
- Plan and organize employee engagement activities
- Participate in employee events and meetings across the MI region
- Gain exposure in policy implementation and interpretation
Requirements
- Undergraduate student in business management or organizational development
- Enrollment in a college/university, preferably within the Great Lakes region
