About the position

PSW Luxury Outdoor Living Spaces is looking for an experienced Interior Sales Designer to join their team as they expand into the interior remodeling market. This role focuses on driving sales efforts, managing client consultations, creating project budgets, and overseeing design and procurement for various interior and select exterior carpentry projects. The ideal candidate will have strong client relations skills and a comprehensive understanding of interior materials and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for new client sales, managing initial sales calls and conducting on-site consultations.
• Develop budgets and oversee material selections for diverse interior remodeling projects such as basement renovations and custom outdoor carpentry spaces including bar areas, bathrooms, theater rooms, game rooms, patio roofs, and pool houses.
• Collaborate closely with the design team, ensuring all project inclusions align with client expectations and project scope.
• Partner with the Estimator to deliver accurate job costs per project.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Manager on material selections, ensuring all required materials meet project standards and timelines.
• Present project proposals to clients with clarity and professionalism, emphasizing PSW's commitment to transparency and quality.
• Build and nurture relationships with contractors, vendors, and key industry contacts.
• Develop and expand a referral network for interior and exterior carpentry projects, positioning PSW as a premier service provider.

Requirements

• Proficient in using Buildertrend and Asana for project management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Interior Design, with a focus on residential projects.
• At least 10 years of experience in sales, specializing in basement remodeling and exterior carpentry projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging clients and industry partners effectively.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials and trends relevant to interior remodeling and custom carpentry projects.
• Skilled in interpreting floor plans, construction documents, and creating accurate project budgets.
• Experience in estimating labor costs and project timelines for interior spaces.
