About the position

This position is part of the Department of the Army, specifically within USCYBERCOM, focusing on systems engineering and technical integration for cyberspace systems. The role involves planning, designing, and analyzing enterprise-level cyber systems, ensuring alignment with DoD policies and standards. The incumbent will serve as a technical advisor, contributing to the development of future technologies and maintaining the integrity of C4 initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and technical integration expertise for USCYBERCOM Enterprise cyberspace systems.
• Author and participate in the development of future technology and technical guides.
• Conduct system, network, and statistical analyses to refine requirements for DoD-level IS enterprise architecture.
• Act as a technical advisor on cyber and C4IT enterprise architecture to the Combat Command.
• Document and publish the C4 cyberspace enterprise architecture and infrastructure for USCYBERCOM.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited institution.
• Experience in planning and designing cyber systems and subsystems.
• Ability to formulate solutions to architectural problems of cyber systems.
• Experience leading research on automated C4 system design strategies.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and system evaluation.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional registration as an Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
• Experience with the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination.
• Completion of relevant courses in physical, chemical, and engineering sciences.
