About the position

As an Intelligence Operations Support - Desk Officer at GDIT, you will apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day. The Desk Officer serves as the primary interface between multiple locations/components for matters related to case management. This role requires a self-starter who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of customer operations and expertise in customer procedures to guide, manage, and support projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface between multiple locations/components for matters related to case management.
  • Write memos via customer database, perform file reviews, process requests for file openings, prepare and present briefings to senior managers, draft binding documents, and provide overall operational support.
  • Manage current and emergent intelligence reporting to customers, updating, maintaining, and disseminating intelligence products.
  • Execute and track intelligence sharing amongst multiple stakeholders.
  • Provide continuous intelligence watch, maintaining communication with respective components and partner agencies.
  • Monitor Indications and Warning (I&W) and determine when a threat needs to be communicated to relevant authority.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
  • Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • BA/BS preferred or 5 years of related experience with 1+ years of customer specific experience.
  • Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting intelligence operations (e.g., watch operations or knowledge management).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence operations.
