About the position

The Integrated Program Planner IV at Lockheed Martin is responsible for planning and managing detailed schedule networks for the GPS III program. This role involves interfacing with various departments to translate customer requirements into performance measurement baselines, developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to ensure project progress and compliance with contractual obligations. Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations.
  • Interface with Engineering, Finance and Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Program management to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline.
  • Develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately validate contractual scope, workflow, and resources required to execute the program.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
  • Assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning.
  • Maintain, publish, and present relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to Management and Engineering.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling capacity.
  • Experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Experience with schedule metrics generation and reporting.
  • Earned value management (EVM) experience with a focus on EVM compliance.
  • Working knowledge of a schedule networking tool such as MS Project Server, Open Plan, Primavera, and/or ProjectView and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform schedule integrity checks and critical path analyses.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • Understanding of EV Guidelines, corporate policies including PPMP-01, and an understanding of the DCMA Data Driven metrics and DCMA surveillance process.
  • Additional planning knowledge/experience i.e., Enterprise Resource Planning or Mfg Resource Planning.
  • Strong sense of follow-up with strict attention to detail and quality.
  • Experience with resource loaded schedules.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo Simulations).
