About the position
The Intake Director at Haven Behavioral Healthcare is responsible for managing the intake process for potential admissions to the hospital. This role involves responding to inquiries, gathering necessary information for admissions, and making referrals for individuals who may not be suitable for admission. The position is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care and support they need in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to call inquiries for potential admissions and general questions.
- Obtain required information to facilitate admissions.
- Make referrals for individuals who are not appropriate for admission.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Health field or Registered Nurse.
- Three (3) years clinical experience in behavioral healthcare.
- Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
- Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred.
