About the position

The Insurance Risk Analyst at Marsh will support the Insurance Risk Manager in managing insurance programs for a large real estate client. This role involves assisting with insurance renewals, handling requests, reviewing policies, maintaining records, and providing risk assessment support. The analyst will work closely with brokers, asset managers, and property managers to ensure effective risk management and compliance with insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with insurance program renewals, including collecting underwriting data
  • Handle basic insurance-related requests from Operations including certificates of insurance and auto ID cards
  • Review insurance policies for accuracy of policy terms and conditions
  • Follow up with insurance brokers on open items
  • Maintain insurance program registry and ensure all policies are received and stored
  • Process and track department invoices
  • Gather renewal data for Master builder's risk and CPL insurance policies
  • Assist with the placement of portfolio-wide property and liability insurance programs and environmental coverages
  • Manage the acquisition and disposition process related to risk management
  • Work with the company's brokers and outside consultants
  • Assist asset managers and property managers with insurance-related requests
  • Provide risk assessment correspondence to the field
  • Participate in the property and liability loss control inspection process
  • Collect, organize and prepare exposure information and data for analysis
  • Provide quarterly and ad hoc reporting of insurance coverage information
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience in risk management, commercial insurance brokerages or insurance companies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverage
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • BA/BS, preferably in Risk Management, Business, Finance or Accounting
