About the position

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of civil litigation experience, although candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience will also be considered. Associates will engage in legal research, discovery processes, depositions, drafting motions, and assisting in trials and hearings. The firm emphasizes professional growth through mentorship and a structured associate education program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform legal research and analysis.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions.
  • Assist with mediation, arbitration, trials, and hearings.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • 3 to 8 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to professionalism and teamwork.
  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or sufficient UBE score.
