About the position

The Insurance Customer Service Representative at StroudCorp is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to current policyholders, addressing billing issues, amending policies, and offering policy suggestions. This role also involves generating policy quotes and advising potential customers on coverage options. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and the ability to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions and concerns via phone, email, or other means.
  • Take ownership of customer issues, troubleshoot problems, and drive resolutions.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the relevant internal teams.
  • Collect customer feedback and document knowledge as solution articles.
  • Build relationships with customers and prospects to attract and retain them.
  • Generate sales leads that can develop into new customers.
  • Maintain expert knowledge about the company's products and services.

Requirements

  • Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred.
  • Must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, communication skills, and active listening skills.
