About the position

The part-time Instructor for the Physical Therapy Assistant program at the College of Southern Nevada will be responsible for teaching courses that prepare students for licensure as Physical Therapy Assistants. The role involves active participation in department leadership and collaboration with faculty to develop course content. The instructor will have flexible teaching assignments across various campuses and may include both classroom and online formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses related to physical therapy infrastructure and prepare students for licensure as Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Participate in department leadership and serve on committees as needed.
• Oversee specialty lab areas and classrooms for major subject areas.
• Collaborate with other PTA faculty in developing courses and selecting textbooks.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in teaching or related educational roles is preferred.
