The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering (CECE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida, invites applicants for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning instructor, lecturer, or associate lecturer position with an anticipated start date of August 8, 2025. The primary responsibilities of the position are the undergraduate Capstone Design course (CGN 4808C) and the Internships for Credit program (EGN 4941). Secondary responsibilities include teaching specific undergraduate courses in CECE that relate to design or standard of care, e.g., Engineering Reports & Liability (CGN 3090), assessment related activities, and service to the department. The selected candidate is expected to support the department's teaching mission. With more than 1,200 undergraduate and 250 graduate students, the CECE Department offers doctoral and master's programs in Civil and Environmental Engineering and ABET-accredited bachelor's programs in Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering. Over 30 tenured/tenure-track faculty members and six lecturers conduct the instructional and research activities in addition to a vibrant community of adjunct faculty.
