About The Position
This position is located at Lafayette Park Elementary School and involves working 37.5 hours per week for 186 days (9.5 months) at an hourly rate of $12.53. The role includes providing remediation support to elementary school students through one-on-one and small group interaction. The applicant should be able to collaborate effectively with school staff and students of all ages, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess one of the following or be willing to obtain to be highly qualified: Two-year college degree, Passed ParaPro Assessment, 48 credit hours of college level classes, OR Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA)
- Kokomo School Corporation Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with elementary school students.
- Provide remediation support for students.
- Work well with school staff and students of all ages.
- Complete other duties as requested.
