About the position

The Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer will be responsible for creating and updating training materials for the assisted robotics surgical division. This role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop engaging educational programs using various instructional design methodologies and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop educational programs.
  • Apply trends and best practices in instructional design.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
  • Visualize instructional graphics and the user interface.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
  • Create training that includes audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, assessments, etc.
  • Participate in curriculum strategy development and content design to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Instructional Technologies or Education and/or relatable Certifications (preferred).
  • 10+ years' experience in Instructional Design & eLearning Development, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Highly skilled in the hands-on development of interactive, engaging ILT, vILT, and eLearning.
  • Proficient in Articulate 360 including both Storyline and Rise.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Exceptional experience editing and embedding multimedia into training including audio and video assets.
  • Autonomous with a self-driven and proactive work style.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Creative, practical, quick learner, and good problem solver.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Ability to show excellent samples as part of the consultant selection process.
