The Special Education (SPED) Instructional Coach is responsible for fostering teaching excellence and driving student achievement for students with disabilities across inclusive and self-contained settings. This role focuses on enhancing evidence-based special education practices, supporting high-quality implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and promoting data-driven decision-making and compliance with IDEA and local special education regulations. The coach will work directly with special education teachers, general education teachers, related service providers, and school leaders to build instructional capacity, ensure students make meaningful progress toward their IEP goals, and support access to the general education curriculum to the greatest extent appropriate. This position primarily supports Tier 1 instruction through inclusive practices while also strengthening specialized instruction in self-contained classrooms.
