Mississippi University for Women's Fant Memorial Library invites applications for an Instruction Librarian position. As part of a collaborative library team committed to diversity, innovation, and outside-the-box thinking, this position will take the lead in developing, promoting, and implementing innovative instruction services and resources across the curriculum. They will assess needs, create new programming, develop resources, and foster an environment that promotes excellence in teaching, learning, and research. This position is responsible for in-person and online information literacy, reference services, research consultations, subject guides, outreach, and collection development as part of a team-centered approach. As a liaison to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the library will invest intensively in professional development in this area. The successful candidate will be responsive to curriculum and program changes. This librarian serves as a 12-month member of the library faculty (tenure track or instructor-level, depending on terminal degree status). They hold faculty rank and are expected to participate in scholarship, teaching, professional development, and service activities as outlined in the University's faculty guidelines.
