Responsibilities

  • Install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience.
  • Supervise the work of other installers while encouraging high quality and timely job performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues and train other technicians on best practices, installation code, and company processes.
  • Operate a company vehicle responsibly and efficiently.
  • Complete jobs independently from start to finish while maintaining professionalism.
  • Report issues with installations, tools, or vehicles.
  • Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors.
  • Present innovative solutions and complete tasks within labor budgets.
  • Maintain NATE certification and fulfill other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of residential HVAC experience.
  • All Level 1-5 qualifications.
  • Valid EPA certification for Level 1 and 2.
  • Universal refrigeration license.
  • Proficient in installing forced air furnaces, a/c units, boilers, minisplits units, and ductwork.
  • Basic understanding of complex sheet metal fittings.
  • Ability to complete simple low-voltage connections on HVAC systems.
  • Strong customer relations and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to complete paperwork and change orders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with training and supervising other technicians.
  • NATE certification.
