About The Position

This role involves visual inspection of products and packaging, reporting defects, and ensuring proper labeling and production records are maintained. Requirements

• Ability to perform visual inspections.
• Ability to report defects accurately.
• Ability to stamp date and operator number on labels and bar codes.
• Ability to reference specification sheets.
• Ability to record and report production numbers.
• Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Ability to identify and report unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Fill out attribute sheet every hour based on visual inspection.
• Report any and all visual defects found to the Shift Leader or QA Technician in the affected department.
• Stamp date and operator number on the box label and skid bar code.
• Ensure correct box label and bar code is being used by using specification sheet at the machine as a reference.
• Keep a record of number of boxes or pallets produced and report the production number to the Shift Leader at the end of shift.
• Ensure machine and area around the machine is left clean and tidy at the end of your shift.
• Report any unsafe conditions to the Shift Leader for correction.
