About The Position

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for overall support of company products and services, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction. This position serves as a primary contact for dealers and customers. Interactions made in this capacity impact the financial health of the company in terms of overall ability to provide accurate and timely response of required information. This position is a liaison between inside sales, service, engineering, production, credit, and shipping personnel. Continuous effective communication is essential. Provide quotes, pricing, delivery, assist with inquiries and process orders for units in a timely manner. Discuss product specifications, options, and accessories with customers. As needed, makes periodic calls to customers to determine satisfaction with the company, products, or services. Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Communicate information gained from the field to Engineering, Sales and Production to help minimize future warranty claims. Responsible for proper procedures in the sale and delivery of units and parts, including all associated paperwork. Contributes with the development and continued support of sales and marketing of units. Cross train with service parts sales as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word on a Windows operating system.
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Ability to learn the product line of equipment.
  • High level of demonstrated customer service commitment.
  • Organizational, detail, and follow-up skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to perform written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to understand concepts behind specific ideas.
  • Ability to remember multiple tasks given to self and others over long periods of time.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Must pass background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a technical-related area, inside sales or customer service.
  • Experience in the truck equipment industry.
  • Use of MRP system is preferable.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Ability to concentrate on fine details with constant interruption.
  • Ability to attend to tasks for 1 to 2 hours at a time.
