About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Arrow Electronics is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales through strategic service and support. This role involves maximizing margins, gaining market share, and facilitating value-added solution selling. The representative will act as a liaison between suppliers and customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet sales objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall account relationships by providing strategic service and support to the assigned customer base.
  • Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling.
  • Work with internal and external resources to provide customer service and facilitate quoting and order fulfillment.
  • Function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers to build long-term business partnerships.
  • Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory to ensure Sales Excellence.
  • Sell and drive Solutions Selling within the approved account level strategy, utilizing knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Handle ongoing Sales Support activities for the order-to-invoice process, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Own the customer interface for backend Quality processes, including corrective actions and field Quality Reports.
  • Maintain Perfect Order Index (POI) and inventory integrity to minimize write-offs and billbacks.
  • Coordinate resources and processing of customer quotations, negotiate pricing, and manage the quote process.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in electronics distribution, preferably in passive electronics component sales.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external resources.
  • Strong communication, negotiating, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Power Supplies, Cable assemblies, Thermal components, Connectors, Magnetics, Capacitors/Resistors.
