About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Arrow Electronics is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales within assigned accounts. This role focuses on maximizing margins, gaining market share, and providing strategic service and support to customers. The representative will act as a liaison between suppliers and customers, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution while maintaining high standards of sales excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall account relationships by providing strategic service and support to the assigned customer base.
  • Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling.
  • Provide customer service by facilitating quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring on-time delivery, and troubleshooting customer problems.
  • Function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers to build long-term business partnerships.
  • Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory to achieve Sales Excellence.
  • Sell and drive Solutions Selling within the approved account level strategy.
  • Make sales decisions based on knowledge of the competitive landscape in the market.
  • Support ongoing Sales Support activities for the order-to-invoice process.
  • Maintain Perfect Order Index (POI) and Inventory integrity to minimize write-offs/billbacks.
  • Coordinate resources and processing of customer quotations and negotiate pricing.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in electronics distribution, preferably in passive electronics component sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external resources.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Power Supplies, Cable assemblies, Thermal, Connectors, Magnetics, Capacitors/Resistors.
