About the position

The Inside Sales Representative for the Aftermarket Business at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is responsible for collaborating with the outside sales team to proactively sell service contracts and aftermarket products for the Analytical Instruments business. This role emphasizes driving market penetration, accelerating revenue growth, and fostering long-term customer relationships within a designated geographic area.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers and prospects via email and phone to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of installed instruments and provide customer quotations using CRM systems, ensuring personalized and timely responses.
  • Develop tailored proposals for customer service contracts and consumables products.
  • Analyze customer accounts to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on ways to improve inside sales processes and enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including lead qualification, support, and field sales, to create seamless and positive customer interactions.
  • Actively seek and respond to customer feedback, using insights to drive innovations in products and services.

Requirements

  • Strong professional selling skills with a focus on consultative, customer-centric approaches.
  • Ability to answer technical questions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure responsive customer service.
  • Strong oral and written customer communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of analytical instruments and their applications in customer environments.
  • Experience in the scientific or laboratory equipment industry, with an understanding of customer pain points.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
