About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Livingston Landscape LLC is responsible for leveraging their knowledge of the green industry to connect with consumers and drive sales. This role involves developing sales pitches, making cold calls, and maintaining documentation of sales activities. The representative will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service, while also collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all Livingston Landscape customers
  • Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone or through email
  • Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers
  • Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.

Requirements

  • 5 years proven work experience as a Sales Representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on the company's insurance policy
  • Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  • Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records
  • Ability to perform regular bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred)
