About the position

Kaeser Compressors, Inc. is seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of Inside Sales Representative for our branch location in Dallas, TX. The primary responsibilities include entering and updating customer information in the database, generating leads through web-based software, internet, and CRM searches, and calling existing and potential customers to schedule appointments with Kaeser Territory Managers. The role requires asking proper questions to understand customer needs, closing meeting requests, keeping records of calls, and being the primary contact with customers and prospects in relation to equipment sales. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative will manage and coordinate field sales representatives' calendars and sales appointments, contact customers to schedule follow-up appointments, handle lead follow-up and qualification of customers, and create quote requests upon recommendation of sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update customer information in the database.
  • Generate leads through web based software, internet, and CRM searches.
  • Call existing and potential customers to schedule appointments with Kaeser Territory Managers.
  • Ask proper questions to understand customer needs, and close meeting requests.
  • Keep records of calls and note useful information.
  • Be the primary contact with customers and prospects in relation to equipment sales.
  • Manage and coordinate field sales representatives calendars and sales appointments.
  • Contact customers to schedule follow up appointments.
  • Handle lead follow up and qualification of customers.
  • Create quote requests upon recommendation of sales representatives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma (required); college degree (preferred)
  • Experience working in a sales driven environment, preferably industrial
  • Experience making prospecting calls both warm and cold in goal driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to travel for product training classes
  • PC literate, specifically MS Products, Word, Excel and Outlook (required), Google Suite
  • SAP experience (preferred)
