About the position
RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a PRN Inpatient Unit RN (Registered Nurse) for the 8am-8:30pm shift. Responsibilities
- Assessment of nursing care delivered to adult and geriatric patients on the inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Planning and implementation of nursing care for patients.
- Evaluation of nursing care effectiveness.
- Providing immediate direction to other nursing team members as the team leader.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a degree or diploma from an accredited nursing school.
- Current license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Drive to work effectively in a therapeutic relationship with individuals and groups.
- Prefer one+ years of psychiatric nursing experience.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
- Ability to obtain certification in CPR and CPI.
