Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent and accessible orthopedic service at multiple Virtua hospital locations.
  • Complete inpatient and ER consultations in all orthopedics specialties (spine, trauma, joints, hand, etc) in accordance with the plans set by the orthopedics physicians.
  • Manage calls from the ER, hospitalists, and specialists.
  • Assess and coordinate care for pre-operative patients.
  • Manage post-operative inpatient care.
  • Participate in Hospital Progression Rounds.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Surgical first assist experience required.
