About the position
The Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in a startup within the space industry, focusing on a hybrid environment that includes AWS, Azure, and VMware Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. This position requires a versatile individual who can build automation, manage CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot in high-pressure situations. The role is primarily remote with a requirement to be on-site three days a week in Redondo Beach.
Responsibilities
- Build automation using Terraform in a hybrid AWS, Azure, and VMware HCI environment.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
- Proficient in building automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and VMware environments.
- Familiarity with Windows environments.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ITAR and CMMC compliance.
- Knowledge of PAM and Zero Trust Architecture.
