About the position
The Information Technology Project Manager at FPT USA Corp is responsible for developing and executing project management plans for IT projects. This role involves managing project scope, budget, and schedule while coordinating with technical personnel and internal departments to ensure project success. The position requires a strong focus on risk management, communication, and adherence to IT strategies and policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project management plans by collecting and analyzing the scope of work, business cases, and organizational processes.
- Manage IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Coordinate activities of technical personnel by communicating job expectations and monitoring project progress.
- Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage risks by defining the scope of risk management activities and developing response strategies.
- Develop, deliver, and support a strategic project communication plan.
- Implement disaster recovery and back-up procedures, as well as information security and control structures.
- Identify, select, and review vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
- Recommend improvements to IT strategies, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
- 3 years of experience with Agile processes using Scrum in development and management.
- 3 years of experience with IT Service Management tools, including Jira or SAP CRM.
- 3 years of experience with Data Center and IT system migrations.
- 3 years of experience with application installation, configuration, and integration.
- 3 years of experience with database management systems, including MySQL and Oracle.
