About the position
The Information Technology Internship at JR Automation offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and supporting computer systems, hardware, and software within the company. Interns will work closely with the IT team on various corporate initiatives and projects, enhancing their technical skills while contributing to the overall productivity of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Learn to maintain and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of computers, hardware, and software within the company.
- Work within a ticket system to assist employees/customers with various tasks related to company hardware/software/infrastructure.
- Research, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve a variety of computer issues related to hardware and operating systems.
- Help maintain computer and inventory lists, stock lists, and other supported applications used in the management of computer systems.
- Learn and perform imaging and deployment of system rotation schedules.
- Become involved with user training and promotion of internal applications developed for employee usage.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees to enhance productivity.
- Assist the IT team with various tasks and projects.
Requirements
- Must be a current student in an IT related degree.
- Some IT related experience preferred.
