About The Position

This position is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users of the Student Education Management Systems. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to user inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with Student Education Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common hardware and software problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Ability to document technical information clearly.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
  • Experience with specific Student Education Management Systems used by the district.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to users of Student Education Management Systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions.
  • Assist with user training on system functionalities.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
