About the position
The Information Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security infrastructure of an organization's IT systems. This role involves developing security standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and actively protecting the organization's data and networks from security breaches. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of information security concepts, experience with security technologies, and the ability to think strategically about the evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security infrastructure for IT systems.
- Develop security standards and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Protect the organization's data and networks from security breaches.
- Collaborate with teams to educate and develop security architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, network security, or a related field.
- Experience with Cloud computing technologies (e.g., EC2, Virtual Networks, Firewalls, IAM).
- Hands-on experience building multi-AZ/Region cloud environments.
- Network communications experience (TCP/IP, Routing, DNS).
- Experience collaborating with, educating, and developing security architectures.
Nice-to-haves
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GCP Associate/Professional, CCSK, OSCP.
- Knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 Framework.
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, PII, PCI.
- Ability to develop automation scripts.
- Cryptography knowledge of encryption algorithms and secure communication protocols.
- Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence.
