Responsibilities

- Investigate and report any outbreaks of infectious diseases.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed.
- Review patient documentation for accuracy in infection-related data.
- Monitor and track patient outcomes related to infections.
- Stay current on OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements related to infection prevention.
- Assist in the management of the Nursing Department with high professional and personal standards.
- Plan, organize, coordinate and direct all the nursing functions for all nursing personnel.
Requirements
- Must hold a Nursing license in the state of Louisiana (RN).
- Minimum of two (2) years in long term care or post-acute care.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial ability.
