About The Position

PK Industrial is seeking candidates with conventional spray equipment experience in the industrial industry, a great attitude, and a solid work history. The work is performed at our Augusta, Kansas location in an industrial shop setting. The pay is $25 - $30/hour depending on experience, with working hours from 7 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday, and occasional weekend overtime.

Requirements

At least 2 years Industrial painting experience.
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Must be able to pass required background check/drug testing.
Ability to work well with others & independently.
Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
Must be able to physically handle the work. bending, lifting...

Responsibilities

Performs all types of industrial painting work and surface preparation.
Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, sandblasting or other means as necessary.
Mix, and blend various paints, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and special protective coatings for specified consistency, and drying properties.
Erects and uses ladders, scaffolding, and swinging stage equipment as required.
Paint work and Fireproofing on various structures, equipment, and piping using brush, spray gun or other applicators.
Abrasive Media Blasting, Fireproofing/Industrial Coatings Application.
