Industrial Mechanic - 1st Shift - Up to $39/hr

Responsibilities

• Fixing and maintaining plant equipment
• Troubleshooting and replacing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical parts like valves, bearings, shafts, and gears
• Doing minor electrical work related to mechanical repairs
• Light welding, grinding, and fabrication (if qualified)
• Reading and working from blueprints, schematics, or sketches
• Using the work order system to track tasks and materials
• Operating forklifts or powered lifts when needed
• Helping with daily equipment inspections
• Following all safety and environmental rules
• Pitching in with other maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience doing maintenance in an industrial setting
• Basic set of tools
• Valid driver's license

Nice-to-haves

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Carpentry and welding skills
