About The Position

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, control systems, and automated machinery.
  • Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in various positions for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and around heavy machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or related field preferred or experience in the trades.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
  • General computer (Microsoft) and Apple iPad knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge in Enterprise Asset Management software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, including preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and control systems.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Document all repairs, maintenance, and inspections in a detailed and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production staff and other technicians to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
