About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspection of production process equipment, utility support systems, and production rooms at Kagome Foods, Inc. This role emphasizes compliance with food safety and quality management systems while ensuring the efficient operation of production lines through mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of the production equipment, including greasing, chain oiling, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment problems, repairing and overhauling equipment as necessary.
• Supports non-routine maintenance activities, including the installation of new equipment and setup clearances on fillers.
• Installs electrical for new equipment, orders parts, lubricants, and supplies necessary for maintaining equipment.
• Maintains accurate records and helps keep the oil storage area clean and organized.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with Electrical and Mechanical vocational training or a combination of education and experience.
• Three years of industrial maintenance experience with emphasis on PC-based programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot high and low voltage equipment and controls.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Fundamentals of PLC-based equipment.
• Certifications in Hazwoper, SCBA, and First Aid/CPR.

• Experience with forklift operation.
