About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all projects both internal and external customers. External customer’s projects identified as large, complex, or “high dollar/high risk”. Internal customers are lean, large maintenance, and construction projects. The individual should have a technical expertise in project management, engineering processes, manufacturing processes, fabrication, and field installations relating to the products we produce. A qualified candidate should be able to process technical information and be skilled in conflict management and resolution, contracting, procurement, quality assurance management, and advance communication abilities.

  • Must be skilled in MS Office Suite including MS Project
  • Must be familiar with ERP software
  • Must be able to complete multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency to meet the customer needs.
  • Must be physically able to perform work assigned.
  • Must be physically capable of accessing all locations at customer site.
  • Access all areas within a site which could include heights, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.

Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with project scope, specifications, deliverables required by client, and design criteria of a project and gaining alignment of schedule and budget in regard to deliverables required.
  • Reviewing engineering documents, vendor submittals, fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, good engineering practice, applicable regulations and project objectives.
  • Lead projects by identifying schedules, scopes, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation and change controls.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with staff from various functional departments
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project adheres to project requirements
  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Identify, analyze and report trends based on data statistical analysis
  • Initiate corrective actions based on identified discrepancies and/or needed improvements
  • Documentation of project processes for inclusion in our business management system
  • Documentation of Lessons Learned during project execution for application to future project process improvements
