About the position
The Image Management Specialist at the University of Kentucky's Imaging Services department is responsible for assisting with database management and operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with database management and operations within the Imaging Services department.
- Serve as an informal PACS educator to inexperienced users.
- Employ independent judgment when troubleshooting technical and registration issues.
- Act as a liaison between patients and other UK staff.
- Upload outside facility exams of UK patients into PACS.
- Work with all staff to ensure quality control in PACS database entries.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
- Two years of related experience in a professional office setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and provide customer service.

- Associates degree plus three or more years of related professional experience preferred.
