About the position
KBR is seeking a System Analyst to enhance the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) through analysis and integration of various sensors into the IBCS. The role involves strong analytical skills to support modeling, simulation, test planning, and data analysis, working closely with Fire Control and System of System Integration teams to ensure sensor inputs meet system requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide analysis and support for integration efforts of various sensors into the IBCS.
- Work with Fire Control and System of System Integration teams to identify SoS parameters and their impacts.
- Conduct modeling and simulation, test planning, and data analysis and reporting.
- Determine the contributions of sensors to the overall system and assess if they meet system requirements.
- Develop knowledge of missile defense systems and analyze data reduction files from tactical systems and simulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) or other STEM fields (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in Air & Missile Defense Weapon Systems, Data Analysis, Flight Tests/Ground System Tests.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, and Python.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- 2 years of experience in Air & Missile Defense Weapon Systems, Data Analysis, Flight Tests/Ground System Tests.
- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong social skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong presentation skills.
