iOS Developer with Swift

About the position

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with a strong background in Swift to join our team on a contract basis for a duration of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in iOS development and backend support for mobile applications, particularly in deploying AWS services. This role requires a deep understanding of iOS frameworks and the ability to integrate RESTful APIs with mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift.
• Deploy AWS services to support server-side functionality.
• Integrate RESTful APIs with iOS applications.
• Work with iOS media features such as Facetime and SpeechToText.
• Utilize CoreML for machine learning functionalities.
• Support backend development for mobile applications.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Swift development.
• 5 years of experience in iOS development.
• 2-5 years of experience with iOS media features.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development, focusing on mobile applications.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of iOS development frameworks (e.g., Core Data, Core Animation).
• Expertise in database management (SQL/NoSQL) and query languages.
• Experience with AWS security practices and monitoring tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
