About The Position

The West Texas HydroVac Sales Manager reports to the Corp Sales Manager and is accountable for HydroVac sales for the trucking division in West Texas. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting sustained and profitable growth in sales. The HydroVac Sales Manager must be able to develop and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience, particularly via consultative sales.
  • Working knowledge of HydroVac applications in diversified markets and industries.
  • Working knowledge of oilfield and trucking principles and systems.
  • Self-starter who works well under pressure through prioritization, expectation management, a calm demeanor and simple, determined grit.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator across stakeholder groups.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Applicants will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within West Texas and surrounding areas.
  • Familiarity with updating the CRM system for the management of Burton’s relationships and interactions with customers and potential customers.
  • Conducting face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers for the purpose of business growth, service efficacy and customer loyalty.
  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Conducting customer surveys and developing sales strategies.
  • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling Burton HydroVac Services to new and existing customers.
  • Researching competitors' products and pricing, as well as market conditions to inform Burton service lines and related pricing.
  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts and sales.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
